Pick-up: a rental car is a must, pickups are at pre-determined location.

Seasons:

  • ICE FISHING: January to March
  • TROUT SEASON: 2nd Saturday in April to last Sunday in October
  • LAKE CHAMPLAIN: No Closed Season
  • BASS: 2nd Saturday in June to November 30th
  • SALMON & LAKERS: best times April/ May & October/ November
  • WOODCOCK & GROUSE HUNTING: October & November

Types of Fishing Available:

Equipment Provided: Complete outfitting of gear and tackle, rods, reels, waders, & raingear. All flies, lures and terminal tackle provided at no additional cost." Whether you use your own or mine, beginners should not be overwhelmed. I will have everything we'll need in my truck"

Boat: Lake trips are out of a 14 foot Deep V Sylvan powered by a 15 horse merc 4 stroke motor. Rigged for both casting and trolling, maximum of 2 guests

Gamefish Available: Brook, Rainbows and Brown Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Panfish

Average Seasonal Conditions: Ice out on lakes is normally in April, fishing for Lakers and Salmon. Run off in streams is over in May. Trout fishing is good May to early October. Bass is best June to September. Fall run of Lakers and Salmon October to mid November. Woodcock & Grouse hunting October. Icefishing starts mid January.

JUNE: Sulfurs/Cahills, Caddis, Rusty Spinners
JULY: Yellow Drakes, BWO, Dun Caddis
AUGUST: Tricos, BWO, Evening Duns
SEPTEMBER: Tricos, Fall Caddis, Flying Ants
OCTOBER: Fall Caddis, BWO, Midges
NOVEMBER: Smelt and Alewives for Lake Trout

Typical Shore Meals: BBQ Chicken Breasts or hearty burgers with pasta salad, pickles, chips, finished with a fresh baked dessert. Meals maybe modified for dietary restrictions.

Daily Fishing Hours: Vary greatly depending on the season, conditions and location. Guidelines follow: April 10 to 4, May 10 to 6, June 12 to 8, July and August 6 to noon, Fall 10 -6
